My love affair with lobster rolls started in London where I took my first bite at Burger & Lobster (SOHO) . I have also tried the lobster rolls at Burger & Lobster (Jewel Changi Airport) , Chunky Lobsters and now Luke’s Lobster. Luke’s Lobster originated from East Village of New York, USA in 2009 and now it is available near the entrance of Isetan Scotts. This seafood company serves sustainably-sourced lobster, crab and shrimp straight from the source. The menu is concise and straightforward. The prices are a little steep compared to Chunky Lobsters. You can either get the individual rolls or get Luke’s Trio [S$33.50] which gives you half a lobster roll, half a crab roll and half a shrimp roll. This is perfect for people like me who want a taste of everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous number of shrimps in the Shrimp Roll [S$21.50]. The shrimps are fresh and crunchy but not as sweet as I imagined...
