Dancing Crab (VivoCity) - American-Style Seafood

I saw many people posting pictures of themselves wearing a bib at a seafood restaurant. Google search reveals that this restaurant is Dancing Crab, a seafood concept restaurant by Tung Lok Group. Dancing Crab has two outlets, one in VivoCity and another at Orchard Central. I went to the  VivoCity outlet, which is located on level 3, opposite   Marche Movenpick. The restaurant exterior looks contemporary with ceiling-to-floor glass panels covered with cute red crab and prawn decals. There are 4 huge tanks at the entrance, showcasing fresh dungeness crabs that the restaurant prides itself on. Dancing Crab mainly serves American-style seafood which remind me of the   Cajun on Wheels   stall in PasarBella in Suntec City Mall. There are various combos to choose from, depending on the number of people and type of seafood. This is the   ala carte menu   for your reference. One of the most popular combo is   Live Crab Combo   招牌“卡真”辣酱斯里兰卡蟹海鲜包   [S$10...

Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat 国府珍锅 - Steamboat with Free-Flow Xiao Long Bao

I love to eat hotpot or steamboat, as you can see from all the   steamboat restaurants   I have been to. One of my favourite hotpot restaurant is Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat 国府珍锅. I wrote about   my last visit   to Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat in November 2016. The hotpot steamboat buffet is affordable, at S$27.90++ for lunch and S$29.90++ (Monday - Thursday, Sunday and Public Holidays) and S$31.90 (Friday - Saturday, eve of Public Holiday for dinner. This is Guo Fu Hotpot Steamboat's hotpot buffet menu. There are more than 50 items on the menu (64 to be exact) that you can order as many times as you want. All ingredients are prepared upon order which guarantees freshness. Guo Fu is famous for its fat cow 肥牛, which is called Sliced Special Beef. Look at that beautiful red colour and  marbling. The beef slices are so thin that you only need to cook them for a minute, any longer and the beef becomes tough. Guo Fu has added Xiao Long Bao and Steamed Dumpling into its...

Etna Italian Restaurant - Classic Italian Cuisine

I have read many raving reviews of Etna Italian Restaurant and I have been wanting to try it out for myself. I finally got the chance when a friend agreed to join me for dinner tonight. Etna Italian Restaurant - Decor The white signage with the word "Etna" in red cursive font looks so contemporary and classy. Underneath the signage is all glass, giving passerby a glimpse of the warm ambiance inside. The tables are lined with white tablecloth and white table throw, paired with black cushioned chairs which gives a sense of classic elegance. The whitewashed walls are adorned with pictures of Italy from the past and present. Etna Italian Restaurant - The Food You can access the   menu   by scanning the QR code on each table which you can also find on their website. Every table gets a complimentary bread basket. The warm focaccia bread tastes divine with accompanying olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I chose   Burrata di Andria   [S$28 for 150g, S42 for 300g] to pay homage ...
