  I’ve always had a soft spot for churros, the crispy fried dough stick Spanish snack. But the lack of variety in flavor makes me get tired of it quickly. You won’t have to worry about that at Twist & Buckle where you can choose from 10 different glazes. Twist & Buckle offers 10 different types of glazed churros alongside original churros paired with chocolate, hazelnut or dulce de luche dipping sauce (+S$1). If you are getting the mini churros, you have to get at least 2. I personally prefer getting 2 small ones where you can choose different toppings. My personal favorites are Crunchy Matcha and Pistachio Crunch. You can also add S$2.90 for ice-cream together with your churros. There’s a long queue at Seoul Noodle Shop in Suntec City Mall every time I pass by and it piqued my curiosity. What’s so special about this restaurant that makes so many people willing to queue for hours? I decided to try my luck at Seoul Noodle Shop’s flagship restaurant in Tanjong Pagar. It wasn’t as packed even during dinner time. The Food In case you are wondering, Seoul Noodle Shop specializes in knife-cut noodles. They also serve rice soup as well as side dishes. I can’t eat spicy food so I ordered   Half Chicken Noodles   [S$18.50]. The broth is flavorful but I find the noodles a little too floury and not chewy enough. There really is half a chicken on top of the noodles, but it’s a tad difficult to eat it with spoon and chopsticks. One of the rice soup option is   Busan Gukbap   [S$18.50]. My boss knows how much of a foodie I am, so he included PUTIEN vouchers in the hongbao he gave me for Chinese New Year. I have been to   PUTIEN   in June 2023 and I liked the food there so I was more than willing to revisit PUTIEN. The Food PUTIEN Bian Rou Soup   [S$4.80] is like the putien version of wanton. The dumplings are tiny with morsels of meat in silky dumpling skin.   It’s been a long time since I last went to Osaka and I have been craving for the Japanese pancakes known as okonomiyaki. There are a few restaurants in Singapore specializing in okonomoyaki, I decided to try out Ajiya Okonomiyaki Restaurant. Ajiya Okonomiyaki is a small restaurant hidden in the shophouses along Jalan Jurong Kechil, a few shops from   Micasa Kitchen & Bar. You can find their menu   here .
