Simply Wrapps (JEM)

I was running an errand in JEM and I was hungry, I was looking for a place to have a simple breakfast when the colourfully-decorated Simply Wraps caught my eye. I was looking for something simple, and this shop has the word "Simply" in its name, I am sold.

There are a special Breakfast and Tea-Break menu that consists of a wrap or quesadilla and you add $2 for hot drinks, which makes the most expensive meal on the menu $8.90. I think it's a great deal, and that's what I shall have.

There are more than 50 topping and 18 dressings for you to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice.

I have always loved quesadillas with the cheesy filling and smokiness, but I wanted something lighter for breakfast, so I ordered Mango Chicken Quesadilla where marinated chicken pieces, egg, tomato, cucumber and mayonnaise are held together by cheddar cheese, enveloped in a tortilla. Cheesy with a slight sweetness from the mango, this is the perfect meal for breakfast.

At Simply Wraps, you can either order one of their Chef's Creations, or you can create your own wrap and salad. Eating healthy is important and Simply Wraps makes it easier and tastier.

Korean bingsu is a popular Korean dessert comprising of ice shavings and various ingredients such as sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrups, fresh fruits, Korean rice cake and ice-cream. Grandma's - Authentic Singapore Food

Grandma's has been around for quite a while now but I only got the chance to try their food recently when the third outlet opened in Suntec City. I remember having these prawn crackers when I was little. They are so easy and good to eat, I can finish a whole package of this in one sitting. I don't usually order Malay food, but the Nasi Bukhari looked so good in the menu, I thought I will give it a try. Fragrant yellow turmeric rice is served with golden brown chicken leg which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Prawns were fresh and succulent but I don't really like the sauce the prawns are cooked in. What really amazes me about this dish is the beef rendang.
