A friend told me about The English House. He said it’s one of the few places in Singapore where you can get authentic English food. Decor Located in one of the shophouses along Mohamed Sultan Road, The English House can be a little inconspicuous and hard to locate. Lookout for a shophouse with bright yellow walls and dark green doors. It may be easier to find the restaurant using the unit number. Inside, it’s more oriental than English with embossed Chinese calligraphy adorning the walls. There are many art pieces on the light-blue walls as well as a variety of statues and figurines around the huge dining room.
