I saw Mr. Prata when I visited   Assembly Coffee   with my yoga friends a few months ago and I knew that I will definitely make a trip to Mr. Prata, so here I am.         I ordered my favorite combination (plain prata, egg prata, mushroom and cheese prata). I have nothing to complian about the pratas. They are freshly-made upon order and they are crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. However, the chicken curry that I was given was really watery. Hoshino Hand Drip Coffee has created quite a stir with its first outlet at Plaza Singapura, serving up freshly-brewed hand-dripped coffee using premium Arabica roasted coffee beans and puffy soufflé, among other tantalizing treats.   Hoshino Hand Drip Coffee has recently opened a new outlet at the newly- renovated Suntec City Mall and I have been dying to dine there given the proximity to my workplace, but the popular restaurant is so packed everyday, waiting time is at least 10 minutes.        "Hoshino" Spaghetti with Eggplant, Bacon, Shimeji & Sausage   is almost identical to the Miam Miam spaghetti and equally as delicious. My colleague came back from lunch one day and she was ranting about this new Vietnamese restaurant where she had her lunch which has a very value-for-money set lunch. Mind you, this is someone who is extremely picky about her food and I can count the number of times she was this excited about food during the 6 years I have worked with her.    Armed with my colleague's rave review and a hungry stomach, I set off to find this Vietnamese restaurant called Saigon Baguette.        There are 4 choices for both the main dish and side dish. Located at a corner of Killiney Road, Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux is an unpretentious bakery cafe owned and run by chief baker and owner, Audrey Tan. This bakery focuses on using natural ingredients to create artisan products. The cafe also serves brunch and gourmet sandwiches using their freshly-baked breads and meat supply from Huber's Butchery.          The cafe serves 12 gourmet sandwiches, featuring many classics such as Egg Mayonnaise, Ham And Cheese and Smoked Salmon. This beauty here is   BLT , which is crispy bacon with lettuce, tomato and avacado, served in between two pieces of fluffy freshly-baked wholemeal bread. The fluffy bread and crispy bacon creates an interesting contrast of texture and I like the idea of substituting avacado for butter for a healthier meal.      I appreciate the healthiness of this   Iced Chocolate , but it really tastes more like chocolate-flavored water than iced chocolate.
